Soins palliatifs à domicile

En collaboration avec le CLSC, nous accompagnons notre clientèle dans leurs derniers moments, aux côtés des membres de la famille. C’est dans la plus grande humanité et discrétion que nous rassurons, recommandons et guidons le service de soins palliatifs, pour que ce moment avec les proches se déroulent comme vous le souhaitez, dans le confort de votre demeure. Tous les soins de base et infirmiers sont alors prodigués, en assurant les suivis nécessaires avec le médecin traitant ou autres spécialistes au dossier. Nous offrons également le service d’aide médicale à mourir, accompagné par un médecin attitré par le CLSC. Nous suivons le plan mis sur pied, en offrant tout notre soutien physique et psychologique aux personnes présentes lors de cette journée importante.

Post-operative and convalescent care

Home supervision is regularly desired following an operation, in order to monitor your state of health, provide various nursing care related to the treatment plan, such as administering medication, answering various questions and helping to provide daily care. Our team will be happy to put together a plan with you for a smooth back home.

Wound care : bandage, suture removal, staple removal

Most wounds can be treated at home and we have the necessary equipment, both for dressings and to remove stitches or staples. We move at the desired frequency and supervise you until the wound heals.

Blood sample, urinalysis and fecal analysis

Our team of auxiliary nurses come directly to your home or work, Monday to Saturday, from 6:00 am in the morning. The results are sent directly to your doctor at short notice.

The types of clientele served are: children, adolescents, adults and the elderly. The health professionals chosen for this type of service are experienced, their approach is soft and the service courteous! See you the same day or the next day.

Blood test during pregnancy and trisomy 21 test

Blood tests between the 10th and 13th week of pregnancy and the second between the 14th and 16th week can be taken at your home, following your first clinic appointment for pregnancy monitoring. We can also perform the pregnancy diabetes screening test between the 24th and 28th week, as well as the Down's syndrome test.

Foot care by a nurse

Podiatry care is reserved for the activities of the nursing profession. As a result, our nurse specializing in this clinical field comes to your home, in order to maintain the health and vitality of your feet, by offering you care adapted to your situation. During this visit, she not only determines a plan of care and treatment to be carried out, but she also gives you health advice and suggests activities to prevent the disease. Foot care is not to be neglected, since it has a major impact on your overall health: it promotes your comfort, decreases or eliminates pain and helps reduce or avoid complications.

Drug injection

Most drug injections can be given right at home. Contact us to let us know your prescription and we will give you the necessary information! Here are some examples: Depo-Provera, Prolia, Fulvestrant, etc. It is possible to make an appointment punctually or according to the requested frequency, in advance.

Vaccination

A good range of vaccines are available at home, such as:

  • Shingles vaccine
  • Tetanus vaccine
  • HPV vaccine
  • And more !

Our healthcare professional will come to your home with the vaccine, unless you already have it in hand, fill out a pre-vaccine form with you, inject the vaccine and wait for about 15 minutes, as a precaution. Probe feeling

At your doctor's request, we can arrange for regularization of feeding through the tube, clean the equipment (bag and tubing) and replace the bags at your home.

Ear cleaning

In the event of a blocked ear sensation, discomfort or hearing loss, our nurse gently cleans the ears in order to completely dislodge the earwax plug. Home preparation a few days before cleaning is necessary, inquire for more details.

Health assessment by a nurse

Clinical assessment is central to nursing practice. This assessment includes both the collection, analysis and interpretation of data, as well as the establishment of the resulting findings. Free evaluation by a manager before the start of services

For medium or long-term services, a manager can come to your home free of charge, in complete safety, according to your availability, to meet you, so as to properly assess your needs and expectations in terms of care. You can also get to know the candidate (s) we have selected for you, at a cost of travel for the staff.

COVID-19 : Our entire team is provided by the home care management the personal protective equipment necessary for home care. This material is already included in the price of each service. This way, you and our team members are protected and we make sure that every employee follows the infection prevention guidelines provided to them before each start of service. Health and safety is everyone's business and we make it a priority!

Tax credit for home-support services for seniors

The choice to stay at home for people aged 70 years old and over is now more accessible. In fact, Revenu Québec offers a monthly or annual refund that can represent 35% of the expenses related to home help services. So whether you need nursing or maintenance services, all of these services are tax deductible.

For people under the age of 70, access to insurance through your employer may be an option, allowing you to benefit from services directly from the comfort of your home.
